Silence is Golden

There exists an interesting and useful edge to saying nothing at the right time. Recently I’ve been putting this idea to the test and the results have proven to be worthwhile in certain situations. It’s such a simple thing, it can be used in so many different ways. Silence can mean a lot of things, other times it really doesn’t mean so much. Providing a little silence where others might feel pressure to keep the ball in play can be tactfully sprinkled over interactions with others to open doors, gain further insight, and maybe more than that. The next time you feel that sweet spot coming up in a conversation or interaction see what a little bit of silence will do. The timing and specifics are a little difficult to explain here but I’m sure you will know the next time you encounter such an opportunity.

I wish for you growth, success, and a light footed stride. Take care!
